Important COVID-19 Update from Smile Team Orthodontics
As you may be are aware, the NSW Government has implemented stay-at-home orders for the Wollongong and Shellharbour areas. NSW Health have advised that residents may leave their homes to seek medical care, including dental care.
As the current public health order does not require the closure of our practices, Smile Team will remain open for all appointments during this period, and will continue to operate in accordance with Level 1 dental restrictions. Patient screening and temperature checks will continue to be implemented during this time.
We ask that you please stay home and reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing even the mildest cold and flu symptoms. We also ask that you do not attend your appointment if you have been in any area of concern identified by NSW Health; if you have been in contact with a known or suspected COVID case; or if you have received a COVID test and are awaiting the results.
As information from NSW Health is frequently changing, we will continue to update our patients and make any changes as needed during this period.
The health and safety of our patients, staff and the community are our top priority, and we appreciate you working with us to provide a COVID safe environment.
